ADVENTURE
From mid-October to the end of January it’s baseball time in the Dominican Republic. The Estrellas Orientales is the San Pedro de Macorís baseball team, playing 15 minutes away from Juan Dolio. Visit Cave of Wonders with hundreds of well-preserved Taino pictographs, national ecological parks or arrange an island excursion.

Eating at the many good restaurants in Guayacanes or Juan Dolio on the Boulevard or Calle Principal, especially on weekends. Many of the restaurants double-up as bars and lounges. In Guayacanes, Deli Swiss, La Playa by Nopal, Salitre, Playa El Pescador.
NIGHTLIFE
Juan Dolio’s main street offers a good variety of beachfront bars and lounges for late night drinks, with plenty of dancing. Casino and night fun awaits at Resorts nearby, while close to the center of town, you’ll find additional wine bars and lounges for cocktails with a more chilled out atmosphere.
SHOPPING
On the main roads, there are small souvenir shops and Minimarkets or head out to the Jumbo Supermarket & Store in San Pedro de Macorís that is open until late in the evening.
